Handcuffed to the girl who double-crossed him
The classic mistaken man caught up in the middle of high drama and intrigue. A man(Robert Donat) comes to the aid of a young woman(Madeleine Carroll) only to get involved in a cloak and dagger chase through London and Scotland. The mysterious spy activities culminates in a novel climax.
